Tankred Dorst’s “I, Feuerbach” opening soon

feuerbach-2 Tankred Dorst’s “I, Feuerbach” is opening at Mecidiyeköy Artı Sahne in Istanbul on January 25th. Selçuk Yöntem is starring together with Toprak Can Adıgüzel and Gülçün Kültür Şahin in the play directed by Ayşenil Şamlıoğlu.

“I, Feuerbach” is the story of the passionate actor Feuerbach as he tries to return to acting after years of treatment at a mental hospital. Feuerbach arrives at his first audition in years and expects to see the famous director he has known for so long, only to be greeted by his assistant. His initial disappointment turns into a game of cat and mouse as the actor tries to center the attention of his audience on himself. This takes us on a journey across the layers of Feuerbach’s life and personality. When the long-awaited person finally arrives, things will take on a whole new turn for Feuerbach.
