“Annie” opens in Izmir in April

 

annie-2“Annie” the Musical is opening in Izmir with a production of Mozart Akademi in April.

The musical – written by Thomas Meehan, music by Charles Strouse and lyrics by Martin Charnin – will be staged in Turkey for the first time.

Mozart Akademi have accepted a lot of applications for “Annie” and other children parts. Following the auditions, the selected cats is taking music, dance and acting education which will continue until the premiere.

“Annie” will make a premiere on April 21st at Dokuz Eylül University Sabancı Culture Center. Mozart Akademi is planning to visit other cities around Turkey with he musical.
